Metalink recently announced Daewoo Electronics has adopted Metalink's 802.11n-draft compliant WLANPlus chipsets for its next-generation STB (Set-Top Box) with wireless video streaming capabilities. By incorporating this solution into Daewoo's STBs, multiple high-definition video streams can be delivered wirelessly throughout the household, enabling TV watching on multiple devices simultaneously. Daewoo Electronics' new STB will be unveiled at the IFA exhibition in Berlin, September 1-6, 2006.
